I have some local noise that is wiping out certain frequencies on 40 meters. Lately it has been taking 7272 out of the picture as far as operating on at my QTH goes.

Hi,
My name is Matt and I listen to you guys every day as I drive up and down the roads. I am a truck driver and have plenty of time to sit in front of the radio. 40 has been a little weird lately, but I'm sure it will improve in the next few months. I am in the process of upgrading my license and will most likely be a regular. It is a welcome respite from the trash quite often associated with the cb radio and 75 meters as well. It was really nice checking into the 7.272 (72 chew) this Saturday morning and listening in. Sounds like a real nice group, I'm glad I decicded to tune around this morning.
